Christian sat at the wall of the roof, his back against it. His knees were close to his chest, his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. His eyes were closed, listening to the birds and cars behind him. He came up here everyday at lunch now, for he didn't eat lunch anymore. He hadn't talked to any of his friends since they made that stupid dare. He avoided all social contact he possibly could, and he had changed his schedule so he wouldn't ever have to walk past Star during the day. Andrew he'd seen once or twice since that night, and Andrew had tried to waver smile at him but Christian ignored him. He hadn't worn Star's dog tag, which he hadn't taken off since his birthday in 7th grade, since that day. He had written a few new songs, including That Should Be Me, Baby, and I Can Wait Forever. He had spent more time writing songs and playing his guitar that few weeks than he had that year. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get her out of his head...

Allison walked onto the roof and saw Christian sitting all alone. she walked over to him with a gentle smile on her face. "Are you okay?" She asked sympathetically.

Christian looked up from his hands. He hoped his eyes weren't too red and puffy, but he didn't really care enough to rub them or anything. He looked back down at the ground, wishing she would leave. i'm fine. He said flatly, rubbing his DC shoes on the ground.

Allie didn't buy it for a second. "Yeah and I'm about to die from old age." She joked. She would never get any older. "What's wrong? You can talk to me. This conversation is just between us." She knew what was wrong. Everyone knew. He'd been skipping lunch since Star and Andrew got together, he took off his dog tag from Star, and he's been moping around since that day. But she wanted to let him bring it up. "It's ok. Really."

Christian looked up at her, a blank stare in his eyes. He looked away, letting out a heavy sigh. He pulled himself to his feet, grabbing his backpack and slinging it over his shoulder. I actually have to go now so...

Allison sighed. She wanted to him and she meant it when she said she wouldn't tell anyone. She used the guilt card. "Ok." She said sympathetically, with a hint of challenge. "Just remember, I'm here if you want to talk." She finished with a soft tone, telling him that she meant everything she said.

Christian slowed his pace, glancing at her. 'Kay, thanks. He said awkwardly as he turned around and made for the steps.

Allison watched him walk away. "This is the perfect time to talk about something you want to get out 'cause no one's up here right now. And that doesn't happen often. I've got nothing to do for the next hour so i'm not busy or anything. I know alot about girls too, if that has anything to do with it." She said starring straight at him.

Christian slowly came to a stop, looking at his feet and then turning around to look at her. His eyes wandered her face, wondering if he could trust her or not. Theres not much to talk about really...

Allie shrugged. "I doubt that." She looked at him sweetly and invitingly. "You can trust me. I promise." She knew she was convincing him. "What can i do that will make you trust me? Anything." She thought about that for a second. "Well almost." She laughed, hoping he would atleast smile.

The corners of Christian's mouth twitched, but he looked down quickly. Its just... Why do girls find dangerous guy so... He searched for the right word, biting his lip. Interesting? He looked up at her, blushing in embarrassment at his stupid question.

Allie smiled gently at him. "Ahhhh. Well," She started, gestering with her hand for him to come back over and sit down with her. "Most girls just find it exciting to date a bad boy. That's basically it, really. They think it will be fun because they might get into trouble and they just find it sort of like a rush. Does that help at all?" She liked helping girls and younger guys with their problems. Guys her age or a little older she just flirted with.

Christian reluctantly walked over and sat down next to her, feeling very embarrassed. He listened to her words very carefully, hoping it wasn't too obvious. He thought about what she had said, and suddenly a brilliant idea popped into his head. What to girls find make a guy look... bad boy? He asked curiously, over the embarrassment by now.

Allie laughed lightly again. "Well it depends on the girl." Allie said trying to make him feel comfortable enough to just come out and say it. "Anyone particular in mind?"

Christian laughed softly for the first time in a long time. I think everyone in the school knows who's on my mind, he said awkwardly, feeling like a 6th grader talking to his big sister. He thought over his idea in his head, enjoying the thought and taste of it.
