Chris sat in geometry class at his desk that was next to Maria's. It had been empty for the past 3 months. Now she was just on crutches and her wrist was in a small brace. She was almost completely better and today was her first day back. He waited, calm and content on the outside, but impatiently and freaking out on the inside. He took a deep breath for what seemed like the hundredth time. I won't freak out when she walks in. I won't freak out when she walks in. I won't freak out when she walks in. He told himself over and over again. He rested his head on his hands and acted like it was an ordinary day. But self-conciously, he galnced at the door every minute or so.

Maria was able to walk a bit normally towards the Geometry class door, but still felt pretty embarrassed. Tyler, a guy from her Biology class, had to carry her stuff everywhere she went for her. She felt bad, but she didn't think he minded too much. He opened the door for her, and she carefully put one foot in front of the other, looking around for Chris. Her heart raced when she saw him, and Tyler had to help her around the desks to get to him. She smiled awkwardly at Chris, slowly lowering herself to sit down in her chair.
OOC: I have no idea why i was calling him Michael lol haha

Chris heart skipped a beat when she walked through the doors, but she quickly regained his self control. He had barely seen her since their kiss in the library. Does she remember what I told her? He hoped she did. He didn't know if he could go through explaining it again, but he would if he had to. He knew he couldn't just ignore her, so he turned his head and quietly said, "Hi..." He didn't know what else to say, so he just closed his mouth and turned so he was looking forward again, but he could still see her out of the corner of his eyes.

Maria glanced at him, smiling softly as he said hi. She bit her lip, deciding she couldn't help herself. She turned and wrapped her arms around his waste, resting her head on his shoulder and hugging him tightly until the teacher entered, and she pulled away. She sighed shakily, unable to hear the teacher's words.

Chris sat there while she hugged him. His eyes were closed. He felt like he was on top of the world when she was wrapped around him. It was very, very hard, but he sat still. He promised she could do anything she wanted, and he wouldn't stop her unles it was just too much. A hug wasn't too much. Was it? He sure hoped not. When she pulled away, his eyes shot open and saw the teacher. Half thankful, half upset, he pulled out his notebook and opened it to a new a page. He took a slow deep breath, trying to find his voice. "So how are you doing?" He couldn't talk and look at her at the same time, so he just stared at the blank piece of paper in front of him.

Maria just watched the teacher like she was paying attention, sighing softly. Better than I was... She said quietly, not moving her eyes back to him. You?

"Better, now that your here." He was controlling himself, that didn't mean he couldn't sweet talk, although his face showed no emotion. He copies down the notes in his notebook and looked back up to the front of the room.

Maria looked at her hands with red cheeks and a smile, shuffling her feet underneath her desk. You're a real flirt you know that? She said quietly with a short, airy laugh.

Copying down some more notes, he answered as he wrote. "I know. It's natural talent." He gave a very quick half smile and got back to work. Maybe this won't be as hard as I thought...

Maria took her textbook out of her backpack, pretending to follow along with what the teacher was talking about. Yeah. As long as I'm the only girl you use your "talent" on. She said softly with a smile.

Chris laughed quickly in his head, but not out loud, remembering to control himself. "I wouldn't dream of it." He didn't look up her so he wouldn't have to smile or meet her eyes. Everything around him vanished when his eyes met hers, and he wanted to avoid that, atleast for a while. He focused on what the teacher was talking about and what was on the board. They had a test coming up soon and he wanted to have all good grades this year.

Maria blushed, looking down at her hands than up at the teacher. She had been out for three months, so she didn't understand anything that was going on, but she was planning on getting tutored. Her eyes flickered to Chris, and she bit her lip, looking away again. It was like they were a middle school crush, shy to talk to each other but at the same time overly flirty. She sighed, wishing everything could just go back to the way it was...

OOC: Didn't she have a friend bring her all of her work while she was gone?
Chris was starting to get that feeling when he was with her. He knew he had to make it go away, so he whispered quietly. "You've been gone for a while. Pay attention." He focused 100% on his schoolwork and writing down everything he needed to and paying attention so he could would actually understand it.

OOC: yeah, tyler Maria glared at him, then looked away, unable to remain angry while he was in her sight. School's not my main priority right now, She whispered back, tapping her pencil on her desk.

Chris, leaning back in his chair like he always did, looked down, unable to look up at her. "Yea." He mumbled with a quick, fake laugh. He didn't want her thinking about him all the time, that would just make it harder for him. He swallowed hard. "Well it should be." He was very quiet, but he knew she heard him. He was flicking his pencil back and forth between his thumb and fingers. And it starts getting hard...NOW.
