Caspian sat on the roof with his guitar on his lap as he played quietly. He looked around at all the people on the roof. There were enough now. He decided he would go with G-get Up and Dance by Faber Drive. It fit the mood nicely. He stood and started playing the song on his stylish guitar. As soo as he began to sing too, everyone turned his way. He smiled and felt comfortable with so many eyes on him. Within seconds other people started to g-get up and dance. He loved doing this when it was a dull and boring afternoon. When he started jumping up and down and all around, even more people got up too. They were all used to him doing this though.

Kennedy sat leaning up against the wall of the roof. She liked it when it was just her up here, but today there were lots of teens. Some guy she had seen walking through the halls a few times was up on a little platform, singing some party song as all the kids started dancing and singing. It was too loud and crowded for her, but she'd rather this than at lunch. She watched carelessly, hugging her ankles.

Caspian looked around. he got everyone but one girl up and dancing. He walked over to her. Still playing his guitar, he bent down so she would be able to hear him over the noise. "Come on! Get up and dance around. Just have fun!" He urged laughing.

Kennedy stared at him with big blue eyes, shocked at what was going on. All attention was turned to her, and her mouth went dry. She couldn't find her voice, so she just shook her head, hoping it would all be over soon.

Caspian turned around. "Hey! Keep dancing!" After no one paid them any attention anymore, he turned back around to this girl he'd never seen before. "Sorry. I didn't mean to put you on the spot or anything. But don't worry about anyone else. Just be yourself and have some fun. Who cares what any else thinks of you, as long as your having a good a time." He reached out his hand for her to grab it and come and dance with everyone. "Come on. This is one time we can relax and not worry about school." He waited patiently, looking at her with innocent eyes urging her to get up.

Kennedy stared at him, her mouth open just a bit. She'd never been asked to dance before- in this life anyways. As a human, she'd been asked to dance plenty of times. And there never ended up being much dancing involved... She blinked back to reality, looking at him awkwardly. Could she trust him? She wasn't going back to her old ways. This guy seemed to be okay, but what did she know?
She looked down at his hand, thinking about it for a moment. She looked back up at him then dipped her head so she was facing the ground, tucking a piece of her fair-blonde hair behind her ear. From floor-perspective, she could just look up and see his hand sitting there, waiting. Reluctantly, she sheepishly took his hand and pulled herself to her feet, unsure what to do next.

Caspian gave her friendly smile. "Thata girl!" He said playfully. He pulled her over to an open spot on the roof. He started playing his guitar again along with the music that was playing on the radio now. Now everyone was up and moving around and dancing and having fun. He started jumping up and down and bobbing his head and after a couple of bounces, he couldn't stop from laughing. "Just be yourself and have fun!" He reminded her. "No one's judging you or anything, remember?" He started dancing from side to side, hoping she would atleast do something other than stand there. He hated it when people were boring and didn't do much.

Kennedy looked around, swallowing hard and looking back at the guy. She fiddled with her fingers and hands, not sure what to do. Sure, she had danced tons of times before. Before-that is-she changed her lifestyle. She bit her lip, feeling awkward and embarrassed but not wanting to do what he had said.

Caspian raised his eyebrows. "What, do you think I'm going to do? Laugh at you? No! I just want you to have fun! I'm sure I look like an idiot when I do this!" He jumped around wildly and looked very silly indeed. He stopped and turned back to her laughing. "I don't care, though! It doesn't matter how good you are! It's fun and I just like having a good time!" He stepped closer to her and tilted his head down a bit so he could at her directly in the eyes. "And you should too." He realized how close he was and self conciously took two stepd backs and silently waited for her to start dancing along.

Kennedy bit her lip as he did so, looking around self consciously. Finally, she decided she might as well, and awkwardly jumped up and down. She knew she was really bad, she hadn't danced in so long. She felt so stupid, and she couldn't quite understand why she was even up there. Clumsily, her foot twisted to the side and she stumbled, losing her balance only to lean against him to keep from falling. Her cheeks went hot red, and she stumbled back, startled.

Caspian tried to keep his smile from looking amused. But he couldn't help chuckle a little and he helped her regain her balance. "Ok so i might laugh a little." He teased her gently. "Kidding. Been a while, i guess?" He glanced down at the ground only for a moment, raising his head to look her in the eyes and waited, expecting her to scold him and walk away. He wouldn't chase after her, though. If she didn't want to have fun, that was up to her.

Kennedy smiled, looking down at the ground as her cheeks flushed red. She shyly tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, trying to bob a little bit to the rhythm. Yeah, She was surprised she actually managed to say it, because she hadn't been very social, especially around guys, since Before.

"No problem." He said to comfort her. He reached for her hand and started to dance. He wasn't trying to make a move or anything, just make her more comfortable dancing and so she wouldn't feel as alone. He started to move to the music, just back and forth, then he added arms, slowly getting her accustomed to dancing since whenever her last time was. "Better?"

Kennedy nervously took his hand, feeling out of place. She knew he was just trying to make her feel more comfortable, but she just felt less. She bit her lip, thinking of a calm creek bubbling over pebbles in the woods to calm herself. Yeah, She lied quietly, trying to put on a happier face.

"Good." He laughed. "Now that you've got it back, do you think you'll be ok on your own? Or do you want me to stay?" He asked, being nice. If she didn't want him around, he'd leave. But if she wanted him to stay for alittle longer, he didnt mind. He looked at her patiently, waiting to be told whether to leave or not. His expression gave nothing away.
