Star read his mind in excited satisfaction. She could hardly stop herself from jumping up and around in circles. Instead she stood up slowly, controlling herself, but still smiling and said, "Ok." Her voice almost trembling with relief. "Where should I wait?" She asked quiet enough so that Christian didn't over hear her.

Andrew felt himself start to feel a little bit better, but even looking at her still tortured him. Um, we have Biology and English together... He said shakily, knowing if he was capable, he would have blushed for knowing they had classes together and she didn't. He also knew that somehow they'd end up bumping into eachother... That usually happened, but apparently she never noticed... He glanced up at Christian, who was glaring at him in pure hatred. Andrew knew he had screwed things up for Christian, and he did feel bad. If he wasn't there, Christian and Star would probably end up together. It was like he came and messed up the balance, like things didn't happen the way they were supposed to.

Star never knew she had any classes with Andrew, and felt bad she had never noticed. Star read his mind and realized he felt bad about getting between her and Christian and she whispered gently to him, "Don't feel bad. Whatever is meant to happen will finds its way." She told with full confidence. Then coming back to deciding where to meet him she decided. "Meet me here...when everyone goes to bed." She said knowing vampires don't sleep. So he wouldn't get suspicious she added, "I do't really sleep much. It's uhhh.....personal thing." She said, careful not to let her fear of being murdered in her sleep slip out. she waited anxiously for him to agree....or just change his mind about meeting her all together.

Andrew took a few deep, unsteady breaths, trying to refocus himself. I think it would be best if we weren't... alone... He breathed awkwardly, his hands still trembling. Speaking of which, you might want to get to bed soon as well... He thought, frustrated. He needed alone time, but he didn't want to let himself spend more time with her. He was going to kill her. He knew it, and she did too. He couldn't control himself, this was all just a freak accident that was impossible to avoid in the future. He hated this. He hated everything about him... Hadn't he had enough to hate himself for already?

"I'd rather be alone with you..." she told him honestly, but knew how dangerous it was. "I know you won't hurt me." She said, still trying to convince herself. "Besides, who would stay with us in the middle of the night?" She asked trying to convince him to meet her alone. "I don't like to sleep, I told you that already..." She said trying to hide how much she hated the thought of being killed in her sleep. "And don't hate yourself, or me....Atleast not yet, you don't even know me yet...."

Andrew felt himself begin to return slightly to his scenses. The best time for me is lunch... He ignored her, knowing he wasn't going to see her by themselves till he was more comfortable. Suddenly a thought hit him. He kept thinking as if he was going to see her all the time, as if they would be spending lots of time together. He shook the thought away, thinking about how all the smells of human food and such helped drowning out the smell of blood. Yeah well we'll see tomorrow.

"Ok, lunch it is." Star smiled when they came to an agreement. She knew they could start really simple until they both got more comfortable. "Do you wanna come over and sit with me and my friends? You're more than welcome to join us." She told him sounding cheerful. she was so excitedto spend time with him, btu she couldn't explain why to anyone, even herself. Constintly reading his mind she knew that thing whole situation was incredibly painful for him, but he wanted it too. And she knew he wanted to kill her so bad it scared her, but she also knew he would never hurt her no matter what happened. Basically, whether he would admit it or not, or whether she would believed it or not, Andrew wanted this just as badly as her, if not more...

Andrew looked down, trembling slightly, pulling grass from the ground as she talked. He looked up at her at the last thing, in disbelief and amusement. Are you kidding? He asked lightheartedly, looking back down at the ground. I don't think your friends will be that fond of me... I mean I'm not really their um... type... Along with you so... He answered, referring to how everyone will react when they see the freaky kid who doesn't talk, with the partying, popular, everyone's my best friend girl sitting and talking together. He looked back up at her with a slight smile. I mean, I'm not a big Truth or Dare fan.

Star looked down at the ground and laughed. When she looked back up she smiled and looked straight into his eyes. "You certainly knwo how to make a girl laugh. And I absolutelty love to laugh." She laughed again as if prooving her point. "And i'm sorry again about that. It was just--" Thankfully he cut her off before she stumble and stutter on words and look like a complete airhead.

Andrew listened to her blabber on. It was a little silly flirting, obviously, she was two years younger than him, but it didn't really effect him. He kept on staring at her, his eyes flickering from her eyes, to her nose, to her hair, to her lips... He forced himself to look away, hands trembling slightly. You know, I just tried to kill you, and you're apologizing to me about something I really don't give a crap about. He said with a sideways smile, glancing up at her and then back at the ground.

Star shut up immidiatley. She felt herself blush slightly and she realized she melted inside everytime he smiled at her, but she liked it--no, she loved it..."Ya well, what can i say?" She couldn't think of anything to say which was a first for her. She never fell speechless and he made her melt inside with half a smile, and she couldn't get enough of it. "I like to live on the edge." She said with an adventurous grin and her chin held high, but made it clear she was messing around. She laughed again feeling like she was on top of the world.

Andrew grinned, looking back down at the ground, the smile disappearing. What if she found out about... What he's done? She'd think he was a monster- well, he was, but she would never want to talk to him again. And the worst part was that she could read his mind. He wouldn't think about it... But it was hard not to. That was practically the only thing he ever thought about.

"What? No smart remark this time?" She said jokingly, and then became more serious when she asked gently, "What's wrong? Did I do something?"

Andrew shook his head, rubbing the back of his neck. No, it's just... He started pulling out grass again, this time more violently and angrily. He looked back up at her with a fake and unmeaningful smile. I'm just jealous of you... To be honest... He told her what he had failed to tell himself, looking back down at the ground.

Star sighed, not believing that was what was bothering him. She though tback to her family that she had abandoned. "There's nothing to be jealous of...believe me." She told him looking down at the grass with an expression full of pain and sorrow and guilt and longing. Thank god he can't read my mind. Star snapped out of it and came back to the moment right now. She let out an exausted sigh and leaned back on her hands and looked up into the stars.
