Andrew looked up at the stars, mostly on a little one, but still shining brightly. It reminded him of his... He shook the thought away angrily, looking back at Star. You'd be surprised... He looked back up at the stars. You've never killed anyone... He thought without even really thinking about it. He leaned back like she was, only to feel something a lot warmer, and softer than his hand as he put it down on the grass. He looked down to see his pale, stone hand on hers, and pulled it away quickly, adjusting himself so no more mistakes would happen. If he could have, he would have blushed bright red. Sorry He muttered softly, trying to pretend it didn't happen, but not being able to remove his thoughts from he warm touch...

Star's hand turned ice cold for a second and looked down to see Andrew pulling his hand away from hers. "Don't be..." She said gently after he apoplogized for something that there was no need to be sorry for. She took a chance and reached over a bit so their hands were touching again, praying he wouldn't pull away. Star tried to ignore the thought he heard from Andrew. You've never killed anyone.. She knew it was harder for a vampire, especially a newborn. But she couldn't help but wonder, who had he killed?

Andrew closed his eyes and lay down on the grass. He should have pulled away. He would never do anything like this, but for some, beyond his mind reason, he wanted to stay there. If I weren't one, I'd never touch a monster... He whispered to her softly.

Star laid down next to him feeling unusually tired. "Your not a monster..." Star yawned a long and exausted yawn. "...you could never be..." She didn't like to sleep, btu she felt safe with Andrew, like she knew nothing was going to hurt her while she slept. Her eyes slowly started to close, but she kept her eyes fixed on Andrew face and reading his thoughts as if they were written in big, bold letters all across the sky.

Andrew subconciously wrapped his arm around her as she lay down, as if it was natural, something he was used to. Yes, his throat was burning more than anything, but he couldn't risk this. You say that, but you've never seen the things I've done... He thought, finding it easier than actually talking. A picture of his little sister flashed in his mind, but he pushed it away, not wanting to ruin this perfect moment...

Star wanted to ask who it was he was thinking of, but didn't want to mess this up. And she was too tired anyway. Her eyes slowly closed shut. The last thing she remembered was looking at his face and feeling gooey inside and being safely wrapped in his arms as she drifted off into the blackness of sleep and almost didn't want to wake up or leave the comfort of his arms.

Andrew stared at the stars, then closes his eyes, trying to think of some reason that this was okay. What was he doing anyway? He met this girl today and now...? But something wouldn't let him move. His heart wouldn't allow it. Something jolted him out of his thoughts and he turned to see Star shivering. He realized he should have thought about this sooner. He was a vampire, and pressed up against him like this she was probably freezing. He took off his jacket, laying it over her like a blanket. He decided he couldn't help himself, and he took off his shirt as well, lifting up her head gently and laying it under gently. He layed there for a few moments, then got up and moved behind her, putting his arms over his knees and watching her thoughtfully, finding her sleeping very interesting.

Star felt suddenly warmer as a cold wall was removed from the side of her sleeping body. She felt her body go back to her normal 108 degrees and went into a deeper sleep for once in her life, feeling safe and out of reach from any harm that could be lurking about.

Andrew watched as she shifted a bit in her sleep. He missed that-sleeping. He picked up a stick, writing the letters, E, l, l, i, and e in the dirt infront of him. He rubbed it out with his foot, repeating this process a few times, until once, without thinking, he started to draw an S in the dirt. When he realized what he was thinking, he rubbed it away quickly in shock, then throwing the stick as far as he could, which was quite a while for him. He put his face in his hands, shaking his head and looking back at Star, trying to tell himself it never happened, but his heart knew what and why he did it. He sat there for a while, memories of his sister playing in his head, as the sun started to rise over the trees.

Star woke up slowly, coming out of her sleep in a peaceful and relaxing pace. When she fully opened her eyes. She saw the jacket covering her body and felt the soft shirt under her head. It reaked of vampire. Before she freaked out, she recalled the previous night with Andrew and how they fell asleep together, which made think, where was he? She sat bolt upright, holding the shirt close to her chest. She looked around in front of her and then turned around beginning to think he didn't care about her at all and left her in the middle of the night but felt bad so he left his jacket and shirt for her and-- the toughts stopped as soon as she turned to look behind. There he was. Sitting with his knees bent and his arms draped over them and best of all. Shirtless. He-llo abbs!!! Star thought immidiately. She swallowed hard so she wouldn't show how much she was enjoying this and she didn't let it affect her voice whatsoever. She held up. "Do you want this back, or do you just like showing off for the ladies?" She teased him.

Andrew stared at her with an annoyed look, but with a small smile. You looked uncomfortable, so I thought I'd be nice. He said with a glare, taking his shirt but not putting it on quite yet. A mischevious smile came on his lips. And what are the goods good for if you can't put 'em to use? He said daringly, flexing his abs, then pulling his shirt over his head and shoulders. I would let you look more but girls shouldn't play with guns... He said, then flexing his arms and pulling his sunglasses out of his jeanpocket and putting them on in relief. The darker scenery made him feel more relaxed, and he breathed in slowly.

Star liked this. "Ya?" She aked walking over to stand inches from his face. "Well I do alot of things I probably shouldn't." She paused for a moment. "Like this." She said pulling off his sunglasses and putting them on her own face. They were very comfortable and she saw her reflection in his eyes. They looked good on her! "I like 'em!" She said with delight. "I definitly want these!" She said modeling for him, laughing all the while. She felt so comfortable with him, like they'd been best friend their whole life.

Suddenly everything was light. His eyes burned, and he stiffened, the bright light making the burn in his throat even worse. She was standing right in front of the sun, and she was almost as bright as the sun herself. He squinted his eyes, then closing them, trying to regain his control on his breathing. Stop it. He said angrily, snatching the sunglasses off her and putting them back on his eyes. Relief swept over him and he felt out of breath. He sat back down, bending his neck down so he was looking at the ground and running his fingers through his hair in frustration.

Star stopped as soon as he snatched the sunglasses off her face. She was starting to get annoyed. "What is up with you?" She asked him with a clear edge in her tone. "I'm just trying to have fun and one second you're all happy and laughing and smiling and having fun too and then the next you're so dark and act like you hate the world and everyone and everything in it!" She couldn't stop herself from bursting and it came out alittle-no, alot louder than she'd hoped.

Andrew sat listening, not saying a word, just sitting in the same position. He stared into space, not quite at her face but just away, sitting unmoving. He looked and felt like a statue, cold and hard as stone, which he was, and didn't answer her.
